Daniel Taylor
The future generation of young talented DJs is here and his name is Daniel Taylor.

For someone so young (18) he has already achieved so much in such a short space of time. And this is only the beginning.

Daniel’s story starts at the tender age of 11, when he bought his first 12” single. Since that day he has never looked back, forever digging deep in record bins looking to satisfy his hungry for tunes.

Young aspiring DJs and producers should take note, its not everyday you hear of 13 year old becoming a resident at Germany’s "Fink Club" where he went onto play an incredible 8-12 hour set. By the age of 14, he had landed his first remix job from the prestigious label "Superstar Recordings" for Oliver Moldan “Freefall”. By 15, Daniel was again the youngest DJ ever to play in Germany’s most prestigious club "Tribehouse". A feat which wasn’t going unnoticed and within 12 months Daniel Taylor name was on the forefront of many DJs, Labels, and producers lips, not to mention the front cover of the German music & lifestyle magazine "Partysan" .

His first track "In The Scheme" was rapidly snapped by “VA Breaks” (a sub label of “Finger Lickin” Records) and was heavily supported by DJs like Plump DJs, Soul of Man and Timo Maas (who used this tune on his Mix Mag cover mount mix CD Feb ?05).

However it was in May O5 when Daniel really broke through with his remix for Hyper “Come with me” (Four: Twenty). This tidy remix opened the doors as producers and labels all lined up to receive a slice of what Daniel could offer. He hasn’t disappointed yet.

Also in 2005, the wunderkid has dished up tasty remixes for the likes of Timo Maas “First Day” (Warner Music), Adam Freeland “Heel & Toe”? (Marine Parade), Steve Mac “The Big Track” (CR2 Records), Lee Coombs “Out Of My Mind” (Thrust Recordings) and Mark Dynamix “Identify me” (Ministry of Sound / AUS).

In July Daniel released another single titled “M.O.R.D.” on “Four:Twenty” to excellent support including spins from Ricardo Villalobos, Timo Maas , Lee Coombs, John Digweed, James Zabiela and Nic Fanciuli. “M.O.R.D.” has gone onto become one of the top 20 house tunes (#3) as published in Mix Mag. With a recent mix set on Ministry of Sound Radio UK and with his Gig at the legendary DC10 club in Ibiza in the later summer, he finally demonstrated to be an extraordinary DJ.

The year 2006 started perfectly for Daniel with his new residency, Germany’s best club, the Tribehouse. End of January, the German channel RTL announced interest in Daniel and televised him followed by a 30min. radio show at “Loose Cannons” on Radio Kiss100. Currently, he completed his sophisticated remix job for for Timo Maas ft. Kelis “4 Ur Ears” and currently, he takes a lot of credits from DJs like Pete Tong and many more.

In March, Fabric - undisputable one of the top 5 clubs of the world - booked Daniel to play there alongside James Zabiela, Plump DJs, Hyper, Lee Coombs, Stanton Warriors, Meat Katie, Stereo 8 and so on. This outstanding gig is followed by a guest performance at the ‘Annie Nightingale Show’ on BBC1 and a gig at London’s Turnmills’ what an accolade.
