MUSIC PRODUCTION & LABELS:His emphasis on diversity shines through not only in his record box, but also in his top quality productions for such respected labels as Fade, Kubist, Movim, Inversus, Silver Planet, Houseplant, Drenched, Oblong, Terraform and Dorigen. With his productions, Ben has been making some incredible contributions to the music world. His first original EP “Timewreck” debuted at #1 on the Release Records charts, selling out almost immediately. His music has received club & radio dj support from acclaimed dj’s of all styles (Satoshi, Craig Richards, John Digweed, Tigerhook, Cass, Tyler Stadius, Chris Fortier, Mazi, Sasha, Lee Burridge, Jay Tripwire, Sander Kleinenberg, etc…), and has been featured on several mix-cd compilations including :
Chris Fortier’s Bedrock 3 (Bedrock), Cass’ Eight (Sabotage), Noel Sanger’s Summerbreeze 2 (Nettwerk), Anthony Pappa’s Balance 006, the forthcoming Fear of A Silver Planet 4, and John Digweed’s Kiss FM show, and has been rated Record of the week more than a few times on Ministry of Sound radio. Without a doubt, this young prodigy knows how to produce a club stormer that also translates for home listening.
RECENT AND FUTURE PROJECTS:In addition to his own musical output, Ben has recently teamed up with long time studio partner Patrick Turner to create two new labels, Movim Recordings & Houseplant Records. Featuring highlight releases from artists such as Patrick Turner & Jay Tripwire, Mazi, Souldoubt, Ty Tek, Chris J, and Community Recordings, this label is sure to bring a solid lineup for 2004 and beyond.
