Justin
Originally from Singapore, Justin started collecting dance music around 1989-1990, picking up on mainstream dance acts such as Technotronic, Black Box, 49ers, and Snap!. Inspired by early sets from DJs such as Alfredo, Tony Humphries, Little Louie Vega and CJ Mackintosh, he started mixing and has never looked back since. He has since taken interest in different genres of dance such as Hardcore/Rave (T99, Praga Khan), NY Garage (Strictly Rhythm, Nervous Records), UK Progressive House (Guerilla, 23rd Precinct), Breakbeat House (SL2, XL Recordings), UK Techno (808 State, Orb, LFO), early European Trance (Jam n' Spoon, Sven Vath), Italo-Dance, Handbag, Epic House (Blue Amazon, Sasha), Deep House (Paper Recordings, Toko), US House (early Deep Dish, Yoshitoshi, DDR), and Tech-House (Eukahouse, EBE, Plastic City).

During his time in Melbourne pursuing his studies (1997-2004), Justin has had the opportunity to check out the various music subcultures in this city with a vibrant dance scene. Being regularly exposed to the preferred sounds there has undoubtedly influenced him musically to a certain extent. These days he tends to play styles from the deeper end and aspires to take the audience on a musical odyssey by capturing the emotions in a track and creating a fine blend of elements. A typical set includes anything from deep, minimal house to uplifting, driving progressive tracks, incorporating bits of breaks, tech-house, and sometimes a few classics from the past decade. A truly versatile DJ with a classical background, he is a perfectionist when it comes to presenting the tunes to the floor. With an obsession for weaving soundscapes, he often leaves the audience dazzled and amazed with his smooth style of mixing.
