Paolo Mojo vs Cass: Heretic 1.0 compiling

Paolo Mojo and Cass are currently putting together a double mix CD, entitled Heretic 1.0. The compilation will be released on Cass own Sabotage Systems label, in early summer 2004, and it’s going to be designed to rail against accepted ideas (as the name ‘Heretic’ might suggest) – “an exploration of the weird, trippy fuzzy outer edges of house music – unconventional - yet ultimately funky stuff”.
For that matter, Paolo has avowed:
“No bog standard progressive fodder purleeeease. Or tech house fodder for that matter. Or funky greek porn folk fodder. We’re looking for original, strange, offbeat and undiscovered gems to shout about from the rooftops and the turntables.”
The originality extends into the artwork and packaging with award winning artist David Bimson creating some vivid original artwork for the project. Definitely one for the connoisseur methinks. Deadline for all CDs, vinyl, nail bombs, free porn is March 31st. Please send fao:
