DanceStar 2004 Winners

The winners of this year’s DanceStar Music Awards have been chosen, during the Wednesday March 10th ceremony in Miami. The events was hosted by former Baywatch beauty Carmen Electra alongside other celebrities including Paris Hilton, Yoko Ono, Boy George and Moby.

The night’s big winners were Paul Van Dyk who scooped three awards for Best International DJ, Best Event and his collaborative effort with DJ Colette and Felix Da Housecat for Motorola’s global advertising campaign won him Best Use Of Music In A TV Commercial. The Crystal Method also ran away with three awards including Best Act, Best Album Legion Of Boom and Best Single Born Too Slow. Renowned DJ duo and Grammy winners Deep Dish took home two awards including the prestigious Best DJ award and Best Compilation. Carl Cox and Frankie Knuckles took to the stage to present Moby with a special award for Outstanding Contribution To Dance Music.
