House Music Awards 2005 Report
Friday, 16th December 2005 at 3:45 am / Words: Paul Pritchard
Building on the success of their inaugural event last year the House Music Awards returned for 2005 to take over London’s Hammersmith Palais for a celebratory look back at all things house. Last year’s showcase saw some of the top figures within the house music fraternity turn up to support and congratulate the achievements of the scene in 2004.
And this year was no different. The crowded bar area was awash with some of the most important people in the business, and Brandon Block.
The general public turned out in force also, filling the huge ground floor space comfortably. The venue selection and event programme was clearly tailored to cater for these clubbers, and live performances from the Body Rockers and Barbara Tucker along with DJ sets from David Guetta and Joey Negro made sure that everyone was kept suitably entertained.
