The Results from DJ Mag Top 100 This Year

The number one DJ is for the second time Paul Van Dyk. “Best trance DJ”, Paul Van Dyk remarked himself this year through his Vonyc Sessions tour, gaining more and more fans. The surprise comes on the second place which is taken by Armin Van Buuren, and not Tiesto (he is on the third place). “Best House DJ” is DJ Dan, with a place after Christopher Lawrence, which is on the fourth position. Ferry Corsten, John Digweed and Above and Beyond complete the first ten DJs from the top.

Carl Cox falls one position, staying on the 11th place. He is chosen as “Best Techno DJ”, while Sasha moves down 3 positions on the 7th place; he is “best prog DJ”. While DJs such as ATB, Deep Dish, Paul Oakenfold, Hernan Cattaneo etc climb down a few places from last year, Eddie Halliwell remains a non-mover on 17. As “new entry” is John Aquaviva straight on the 22nd position, Phil Kieran and DJ Skazi. Flash Brothers are the highest climb, directly on 23. Tiga is the “best electro DJ” on 50, while Richie Hawtin falls 21 positions and stays on 33. Desyn Massiello climbs down 16 places (on 70), just like James Holden, who takes the 53rd place. The last but not least is b>Dave Clarke, who has lost 64 positions from last year.
