Progressive duo Jody Wisternoff and Nick Warren hit the dance scene for the first time in ’97 with ‘The Gift’, since then they released two artist albums, self-title ‘Way Out West’ and the full-length ‘Intensify’ on Distinct'ive Breaks in 2001. ‘Muthaf***a’ is the first release since their latest album and is already storming the dancefloors, especially in Ibiza, Timo Maas already banging it out since Homelands. The disc features two mixes, quite similar one to another, sampling Ol Dirty Bastard vocal, both excellent outfits, combining the funky prog beats with some sophisticated electronic guitar samples and the old school scratches. A massive hit by the famous production duo and hopefully an introduction for their forthcoming album is due for release in March 2004. Be aware though it will NOT appear on the tin. |
