After creating furors with “Kennis Back”, the producer and dj hailing from Israel, Guy Gerber, comes back in the forefront in 2004 with a massive bomb which got an amazing feedback – “Stoppage Time”, released on Bedrock. And this summer appeared also the remixes package as it was expected, released on Bedrock as well, on this disc the contributors being the well known Max Graham and Tom Mangan.
“Max Graham sidechain mix” is the track founded on the A side, consisting in a driving progressive tune with a fresh and dizzy air of uplifting, a track which doesn’t want us sitting on the tables, having a precise target – on a hand the listener’s mind and soul, and on the other hand the dance floor. Keeping the initial melodic line, this tune builds up as support a massive bass line which inveigles the other elements too, making altogether a pretty good song.
Beside progressive, the material features some nice electro vibes, the Tom Mangan Mix is appetizing and luxuriant, composing a hot and dement rhythm, but having on the basic set the same fascinating melody which grown on us last year.
If you were missing some flavors of “Stoppage time”, now it is the right time to fully taste these two productions which gather some fascinating vibes from 2004 in order to drive us crazy this year as well. Massive!
