Gaining support from Phil Thompson, Jerry Bonham, Hernan Cattaneo, Anthony Pappa, Moshic, Slaker and others, the new solo single from Label Manager/A&R Norman H released on Coldtap Recordings and called “Wrapped In Plastic” leads the listeners into a clean world of progressive house so that the two track succeed in captivating through a lush and unique sound.
Norm’s Original Cherry Pie Mix opens up the A side and brings a somber progressive tune with some abstract melodic lines very ambiguously defined, contouring a solid and simple rhythm. The effected vocals, the bald bass line and the strange sounds give to the track a weird form of dizzy hypnotic track.
With some more dynamism and rhythm, the second version of the track, Lee Neilson’s Agent Mix is contoured easily, containing a solid and clear groove, a pretty less abstract melody and a gripping and nice rhythm.
With a good taste not only for business but also for music, Norman H made a pretty good job with the 13th release of Coldtap, one to watch.
