Armin van Buuren’s ‘Yet Another Day’ has been officially tipped by Pete Tong as one of the tunes to watch at this years Winter Music Conference… Featuring the vocal talents of Ray Wilson,Genesis singer, songwriter and producer, Armin’s ‘Yet Another Day’ is set to get 2003 kicked off in a fine style for one of Holland’s brightest new hopes!
The remix of Hiver & Hammer is a mesmerising trance piece that builds to an epic two-minute long break incorporating the original guitar lead and Wilson’s stirring lyrics. Riva deliver a rather bland remix. All the Riva trademarks are rich, but they don’t amalgamate well with Ray Wilson’s vocal.
Follow up, The Rising Star rendition is a softer trance affair; lacking the dynamics of the Original but still bettering the aforementioned Riva remix.
Nebula exclusively license brand new remixes from Attention Deficit, newly formed project from Dave Dresden, and DJ Shah, a trully a harder trance fusion that willl raise the rafters off any respectable nightclub.
Not liking to pigeon hole himself, Armin describes his sound as ‘euphoric, uplifting, melodic and energetic “Don’t be a prisoner or your own style” he comments, with this, and his view of DJ’ing “The fans are the most important thing” it’s no surprise his UK fan base is so huge.. and it can only get bigger!
